Nade

The colour named after Nadine (Mama Tjhoko), is Nade. Nadine loves the sea: the smell and the sound of it, and the creatures that live below the surface. There is a coastal road between Gordon’s Bay and Kleinmond in the Western Cape and when you drive it on a hot summer’s day, you can see Nade in the waters below. Nadine’s mission is to inspire and create opportunities, whether in people’s lives or in giving an item a second chance or purpose. Upcycling using Nade is a joy and it’s even used to create the perfect patina effect.
